After coming from an apartment filled with black mold and a leasing office that didn't care, this place was exactly what I needed. Kiki was able to give me a tour, go through the whole application process and had me in a new unit within 24 hours, and I cannot thank her enough. She even took time on her one day off to give me my keys so I could move in before the work week started. A maintenance issue was discovered, I told Kiki, and the maintenance guy came in and found the issue immediately. He fixed it, he even put furniture back and locked the door for me as he left. These people are exactly what I needed and I cannot say enough good things!

She gave me a amazing tour and after seeing how great the units where and how clean and nice the property is I was sold! I came back to the office to go over a application and I got to meet the property manager Kody. He came over to see how I liked the property. Some residents here are really dumb. There is a SIGN at the gate that literally says one car per badge in and TO NOT follow behind others. With that being said, there are parking spots right after you enter the gate that I some times have to park in. If you choose to follow behind me then 1, if there is enough room I will flag you to pass me. 2, if there is not enough room, then you need to reverse back before the gate closes on your vehicle. It is not my fault that you are impatient and now your vehicle has been rammed by the gate. Follow the rules that everyone else has to or use your brain. Other than the rude residents, its a fitting place to live.

Great amenities and location. I got an awesome deal for my one bedroom apartment. The staff is helpful and friendly. The maintenance staff get the job done super quickly!! The apartment I got was in virtually brand new condition and I love it. There is enough parking around the lot and plenty of gates to get in to each apartment building. It is fully gated and there is a guest code to make it easier to have visitors. They use parcel package service for secure delivery of packages. The gym is now open 24/7, and it has what you need for a good workout. It is dog friendly!! Overall, you’re not going to find a better apartment in North Charleston - this is the best one yet.

EDIT: After the switch in management this year, the apartments have improved so much. Maintenance is on a timely manner and the leasing office staff is so kind and attentive. 12/29 Not the best place we’ve lived in but not the worst. Here are a few things that we liked and disliked. If you’re in the navy, we liked on base housing better but take it with a grain of salt. Cons: 1. Thin walls and windows. Sounds travel a lot. Upstairs tenants are very loud. Stomping and dropping things (sounds like that). 2. Smells like dog urine outside of patio 3. No warning when things are being done in the apartments. Woke up to loud noise from construction, they were changing the iron gate on the patios. Not such a big deal for me but I’m sure for moms putting their kids to sleep, it would be bothersome. But could be a one time thing, haven’t been here long enough to tell. 4. Neighbors across were rowdy. Teenagers hanging out at night when supposed to be on quarantine. (Doesn’t happen often tho) 5. Weird plumbing. Toilet clogs easily. And bubbled randomly overnight. 6. Decent appliances. Dish washer doesn’t work well a lot of the times. 7. 2 bedroom apartment has no space for dining table and small living room space. Pros: 1. Good location and has a stop light to exit and enter, this is very nice. And it’s a convenience that affects you daily. 2. Okay prices (able to save on bah) 3. 1st floors have wooden floors 4. Cool mailing system (parcel) 5. So far pretty fast on work orders 6. Nice bath tubs and high ceilings 7. Great people at the leasing office 8. Nice swimming area 9. Washer/dryer units included. Very convenient 10. New location, so its fast to move in. 11. Feels private especially for the location (next to busy street and highway)

Just moved in on the 16th. Hassle free and with a lot of help from the great staff. Had a couple small maintenance issues, notified management and within a couple hours the maintenance man Tyler had it resolved. He and his crew keep this place looking and running great. Great amenities and location. I got an awesome deal for my one bedroom apartment. The staff is helpful and friendly. The maintenance staff, Tyler in particular, gets the job done super quickly!! The apartment I got was in virtually brand new condition and I love it. There is enough parking around the lot and plenty of gates to get in to each apartment building. Security of the complex is great - I do wish they would bring back the guest code to make it easier to have visitors. They use parcel package service for secure delivery of packages. I wish the gym was open 24/7, but it has what you need for a good workout. Overall, you’re not going to find a better apartment - this is the best one yet.

The complex has some really good move in specials and the property is kept nice. A lot of amenities Included in your apartment lease such as washer and dryers at no extra costs, and valet trash pick up. Only downside to that is some residents just put their bags of trash outside their doors which causes leaks and smells at night and stains the concrete. Typical apt noise if your a 1st floor unit.

My girlfriend and I have had an amazing experience moving in and living here over the past few months. I know dealing with the circumstances at hand that we've all been trying to adjust through during this year (COVID) Dannica, Hunter and Mandy have and continue to do their best at making the best of the situation. Extending pool hours and opening the office building recently have greatly improved the ability for all residence to access the amenities offered here at AOB. Food trucks are often on site to give us an opportunity to meet other residents. If you're planning on moving in don't forget to follow AOB on all social platforms because they post regularly, showing all that Charleston has to offer. I love living here, continue to do a great job guys!

I’ve been here for a year and I love it. I’ve been able to experience both management companies and the only thing I can say that needs improving are the stains in the hallways. It was very well kept before and I think That brings inside cleanliness down. That’s the only major difference from the first company. Other than that the outsides are very well manicured and the staff is super friendly. I would definitely recommend.

What a great community! The amenities are great and I love that they appreciate the residents monthly with activities and food trucks (pre pandemic). I have had the pleasure of experiencing both management companies while living here and I must say they are both top notch. Shout out to Travis who has been so helpful during the pandemic. With great things to say why the 4 stars? Simply because I have noticed a decline in property cleanliness and requirements since the management change. The outer appearance is AMAZING but the residents side would benefit from more attention (like the breeze ways, stairwells and elevators). Other than that, you would be making a great decision to choose Atlantic!

The new management team, including the maintenance staff, are awesome. When issues or questions arise, they are very quick to respond and find resolution. The location is affordable and convenient for accessing most parts of the Charleston area, but the complex is located just minutes from the airport (including the military airport) and right next to I-26, so noise is definitely an issue. Sometimes airplanes flying overhead will shake the building it's so loud. Additionally, the walls are unfortunately thin in these buildings, so if your upstairs neighbors like to blast music at all hours of the day, you better get used to their playlists. Other than that, the amenities are nice and the grounds are kept very clean for the exception of the Valet trash services team (a contracted business) who seem to absolutely hate their jobs and not care about the trash compactor's cleanliness. Also, there is no recycling, so enjoy expanding your carbon footprint. Honestly, for the affordability of this place, I can't even be mad. They are pet friendly, but not every community member follows the pet guidelines, so there is pet waste pretty much everywhere. I'd say my 4 stars go entirely to the management team and the affordability of these units. Otherwise, a more appropriate rating would be a 2/5.

Her hospitality and exceptional customer service made me feel like I was home. Also, the location is great and secure. The maintenance staff is courteous and always eager to help. The development including the amenities are well maintained. I can't wait to go for in dip in the pool!
